CNC glass processing

Numerically controlled processing of glass edges and contours for furniture, device panels and components whose geometry must fit an agreed drawing.

Application and scope

Geometry prepared for your product

CNC grinding tools follow a prepared programme to shape the component's edges and contours. We review the drawing with the cabinet, frame or housing to which the glass will be fitted. Dimensional repeatability matters when parts are used across the same production series.

Edge profiles and finish

The published range includes flat trapezoidal and C-profile edges in ground or polished finishes, quarter-round edges, double and triple waterfall profiles and 45° edges. The chosen profile and machining access are checked for the specific component.

Tolerances agreed before manufacture

The standard dimensional tolerance is ±2 mm. A tighter dimensional tolerance of ±0.5 mm must be agreed individually for each order. Identify critical interfaces in the drawing so the required accuracy can be reviewed together with material, dimensions and series size.

Published technical parameters

Maximum glass size
3900 × 2250 mm
Minimum glass size
110 × 110 mm
Glass thickness
3–19 mm
Minimum size, polished finish
Ø50 mm
Minimum size, ground finish
40 × 80 mm

These ranges describe the published offer. Feasibility and the combination of size, thickness, shape and tolerance are confirmed for the individual drawing and order.

Before we start

What information should I include?

Include the full geometry, thickness, edge profiles, required tolerances and batch size. Mark the surfaces and dimensions that control the fit with other parts.

Can the project begin with a first component?

A prototype or trial batch can be agreed where the project requires it. The scope and the conditions for subsequent production are confirmed before manufacture.

Your next step

What to send for a quotation

Include the full geometry, thickness, edge profiles, required tolerances and batch size. Mark the surfaces and dimensions that control the fit with other parts.
