Application and scope

Geometry for the installed equipment

Display cases need openings suited to their hardware and equipment. Electronics and smart home panels may require holes for sensors, LEDs or touch mechanisms. We review the glass together with the component fitted into it.

Locate every opening in the drawing

Show hole diameters, cut-out outlines and their positions relative to the edges and other features. Hardware documentation can define the mounting geometry. The drawing should show the full glass component as well as the local detail.

Combine with edge and contour work

Where a project also requires a shaped outline or finished edges, drilling and cutting are reviewed with the other operations. Material, thickness and final application determine the feasible sequence and specification.

Published technical parameters

Minimum hole diameter
4 mm
Glass thickness
3–19 mm
Hole types
Cylindrical and countersunk

These ranges describe the published offer. Feasibility and the combination of size, thickness, shape and tolerance are confirmed for the individual drawing and order.

Before we start

What information should I include?

Send the full drawing, hole positions and sizes, glass type and thickness, quantity and intended fittings. For electronics, STEP, DXF, DWG or PDF documentation can be reviewed.

Can the project begin with a first component?

A prototype or trial batch can be agreed where the project requires it. The scope and the conditions for subsequent production are confirmed before manufacture.

Your next step

What to send for a quotation

Send the full drawing, hole positions and sizes, glass type and thickness, quantity and intended fittings. For electronics, STEP, DXF, DWG or PDF documentation can be reviewed.
