Application and scope

Display covers and stepped edges

Laminated glass covers and stepped edge processing can be specified for integration with a display or housing. The glass build-up, mounting geometry and required finish are reviewed against the device design.

Masking, symbols and openings

UV printing can create opaque borders that conceal fixings and electronics while leaving the working display area clear. Icons, function descriptions and logos can be added to the panel. Holes and cut-outs are prepared for sensors, LEDs and the specified mechanisms.

Prototypes and short trial runs

Development can start with individual prototypes or a small trial batch before larger production runs. We review STEP, DXF, DWG and PDF documentation to determine a suitable processing route and clarify the interfaces with the housing.

Before we start

What information should I include?

Identify the user-facing side, display window, masking, artwork, hole positions, thickness, critical dimensions and quantity. Include the device or housing drawing.

Can the project begin with a first component?

A prototype or trial batch can be agreed where the project requires it. The scope and the conditions for subsequent production are confirmed before manufacture.
