Application and scope

Fit includes the support system

The outline, edge finish, holes and cut-outs follow the way the shelf is supported and fixed. We review the shelf as part of the cabinet, display case or retail shelving system rather than as an isolated sheet.

Edges and material appearance

Grinding, polishing and selected edge finishes are matched to the intended appearance. The material, geometry and application determine the processing sequence and whether toughening is included in the specification.

One reference, subsequent batches

A first shelf or trial batch can help confirm fit before repeat production. The accepted drawing, finish and packaging requirements are recorded for later orders.
